2019 Partial Federal Government Shutdown
2019 Partial Federal Government Shutdown
Beginning on January 30, 2019 we recontacted each person who participated in the 2018 American Government Employees Survey to quantify the impact of the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history on our federal workers. Over 1,200 people completed the entire survey. Preliminary results below. Most figures only include the subset that was affected by the shutdown. Only four percent of our respondents are lower than a GS-9 pay grade, many of those below this pay grade may still be catching-up and not have time to complete a survey.
